Date of Meeting: Tuesday 1-11-22 Venue: OSTA - Admin Office Time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm 1. Call to Order/Open Meeting: 2. Approval of minutes: October 12, 2021 minutes 3. Citizens to be heard: 4. OSTA Assistant Director Report (Greg): A. Upper parking lot fence update B. Water to fields was shut off on October 28th, and the lines have been blown out. C. Terra Del Sol Fence - Will be completed once our panel shipment arrives. D. New Arena Dirt Report 5. OSTA Director Report (Angie): A. Employee Update B. End of the year Budget & Capital works C. Report on IFA Training & application of Turf conditioner to BF infield #2 D. Demo on Main arena lobby & re-model, new organization procedures. Events: for the Next month = Cancelled Events = Postponed Events October - Skate Moab (Wednesday & Friday nights), Zumba (Tuesdays & Thursdays), Open Ride, Soccer Practice and Games, Canyonlands PRCA Rodeo, Frisbee Tournament, Banff Mountain Film Festival, BLM After Action Review, Moab Fire Department Training with UVU, Points & Pebbles Rock Show, PGP Car Show, Rigging for Rescue, Jeep Jamboree #1, Barrels for Bucks, Jeep Jamboree #2, GCSO First Responders Day, Raptors on the Rocks, Trunk or Treat. November - Open Ride, Skate Moab - Desert Disco Times Event, Quancinera, Zach Horsley Private event, Main Arena Lobby closed for re-model. December - Open Ride, Main Lobby closed for re-model. Not to be forgotten, will discuss when updates are available: - Arena Fencing- Has been brought to PZ (engineers) attention and OSTA is waiting to hear from them. - Well- Working with Chuck Zimmerman to properly cap the Well and Christina Sloan will be handling the water share procedure. Then clean up and removal of the old well house will begin soon. - Portable bleachers to arena or extension? -2023 project ($43K- 250+ seats) - World Trail (need design+ sponsors / donation) Trail to be formalized by arena staff by adding reject gravel +Horse Obstacle Course - Outdoor Arena - Maintenance and construction upgrade stage 1 of 3 (1 arena, 2 roping chutes & steer run, 3 Cover over arena, lights, bleachers, announcer's booth, wind breaks, and bucking chutes) - Dog Park- Measurements of full BMX area 286'x275' Board Member Reports: Kathy- Pam- Ken- Rex- Patrick- Ryan- 5.
