at 5:30 P.M.

Agenda Item #1 Roll Call
The Planning and Zoning Commissioner McKinnon opened the meeting at 5:30 PM by noting that everyone was present except for Commissioner Moosman.
Agenda Item #2 Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes
Motion: Commissioner Cha moved to approve the minutes from November 3, 2021. Followed by all in favor none opposed.
Agenda Item #3 David Jensen - Subdividing property
Mr. Jensen is looking to subdivide their property up with the end goal of selling it. Mr. Jensen is searching for answers on what needs to be done. The goal is to subdivide the property, let individuals buy the lots and then set up their businesses. However, Mr. Jensen doesn't want to be responsible for the curbs, gutters or whatever will need to be done on the land. The information that Mr. Jensen has been getting has been very vague and he has had difficulty getting answers, but Commissioner McKinnon will work to get in touch with Larry Jensen at the county to see what answers can be found.
Motion: Commissioner Patterson makes a motion to table while the committee looks for answers. Commissioner Cha seconded the motion. All in favor. None opposed.
Agenda Item #4 Christian Judd - Storage Container Update
Mr. Judd has been hoping to get storage containers onto his property for storage purposes only. He attended the meeting tonight in hopes of finding out where would be a good place to put them on his property. There isn't a lot of information about storage container regulations because they are so new, but due to the laws about boundaries, fire lanes and location, the committee needs to do more research to find out what will be appropriate so that down the road Mr. Judd will not run into any issues.
Motion: Commissioner Patterson motions to table until next month after they have some definitive answers.
Agenda Item #5 City Council reports to planning and zoning
Nothing to go over currently.
Motion:
Agenda Item #6 Public Comment - Shad Loveland
Mr. Loveland met with city council officials the week prior to today's meeting. Council has been worried about Shad's living situation as he has an expired variance to reside in his RV, COVID-19 put a major delay on the process. Early April, construction should commence. City Council directed Shad to Planning and Zoning for another six-month variance with a check in three months from now to show progress.
Motion: Commissioner Cha motions to approve variance for the six months with a three-month review. Commissioner Patterson seconds. All in favor. None opposed.
