Wellington City Council Minutes Meeting held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Wellington City Hall Located at 150 West Main Street, Wellington, Utah at 6:00 P.M. Present: Mayor Noyes, Councilmen Timothy, Councilmen Wells, Councilmember Perea, Councilmen Zauss (Zoom) Absent: Councilmen Pell City Staff: Gracie Procarione - City Recorder Tom Kosmack - Police Chief Attendees: Kevin Saccomanno Agenda Item #1 Public Comments There where no public comments at this meeting. Agenda Item #2 Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call, and Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes Mayor Noyes mentioned that Councilmen Pell was not able to join us tonight. Council then looked over the Meeting Minutes from the November 24, 2021, meeting. Motion: Councilmember Perea made a motion to approve the November 24, 2021, Meeting Minutes with a second from Councilmen Timothy. The rest of the Council then followed in favor. Agenda Item #3 Ordinance 2021-14 Ordinance 2021-14 has to do with the City Council meetings in 2022. These City Council Meetings will take place on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 PM. Besides the second meeting of November 2022 that will be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, so it does not interfere with Thanksgiving. Motion: Councilmen Wells made a motion to approve Ordinance 2021-14 with a second from Councilmen Timothy. The rest of the Council then followed in favor. Agenda Item #4 Vouchers and Warrants There were no vouchers or warrants for this meeting. Agenda Item #5 Council Reports Councilmember Perea talked about how it is 'Grant Season', and she is looking into what grants Wellington City should apply for that will be beneficial for the city. Perea also spoke about having a meeting with Sunrise and BODEC to talk about the Sewer Project that Wellington City will start working on in the next year. Agenda Item #6 Mayoral Reports There were no Mayoral Reports for this session of City Council. Agenda Item #7 Executives Session There was not an executive session for this meeting. Adjourned Meeting was adjourned at 6:03 PM Motion: Councilmember Perea made a motion to adjourn this session of City Council on December 8, 2021, with a second from Councilmen Wells. The rest of the Council then followed in order. Next meeting will be December 22, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. at the Wellington City Hall.
