Consideration of Resolution 2021-Authorizing Registration as a Participant in the National Opioid Settlement. (Settlements have been reached in the opioids litigation brought by many states and political subdivisions nationwide, including Utah and several counties in the state. The settlements are structured so that the more of each state's political subdivisions participate in the settlements, the more of the settlement funds will flow to that state. This resolution will authorize the manager, with assistance from the attorney, to register the city as a participant in the settlements by the registration deadline, and also will authorize the mayor to sign any required settlement documents). III. Adjourn CERTIFICATE OF POSTING I, Stephanie N.
