Midway City Planning Commission Regular Meeting December 14, 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Midway City Planning Commission will hold their regular meeting at 6:00 p.m., December 14, 2021, at the Midway City Community Center 160 West Main Street, Midway, Utah If you would like to attend via Zoom, you can find the link here: http://www.midwaycityut.org. 6:00 P.M. Regular Meeting Call to Order - Welcome and Introductions; Opening Remarks or Invocation; Pledge of Allegiance. Regular Business 1. Review and possibly approve the Planning Commission Meeting Minutes of November 9, 2021. 2. Approval of the 2022 Planning Commission meeting schedule. 3. Midway City is proposing an amendment to Sections 16.7, 16.8, 16.9, 16.10, 16.11, and 16.12 of the Midway City Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would change setbacks for the residential zones. a. Discussion of the proposed new code text b. Possible recommendation to the City Council 4. Midway City is proposing an amendment to Section 16.16: 'Planned Unit Development and Subdivisions' of the Midway City Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would review the entire ordinance and changes could affect all provisions of the current code including setbacks, open space requirements, density, etc. a. Discussion of the proposed new code text b. Possible recommendation to the City Council 5. Midway City is proposing an amendment to Section 16.13: Supplementary Requirements in Zones of the Midway City Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would regulate internal accessary dwelling units. a. Discussion of the proposed new code text b. Public Hearing c. Possible recommendation to the City Council 6. Midway City is proposing an amendment to Section 16.18: Rural Preservation Subdivision of the Midway City Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would not allow some sensitive lands, including sloped areas, to count towards allowed density for Rural Preservation Subdivisions. a. Discussion of the proposed new code text b. Public Hearing c. Possible recommendation to the City Council 7. Midway City is proposing an amendment to Section 16.24: Enforcement and Zoning Violations of the Midway City Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would modify regulations for certificates of zoning compliance. a. Discussion of the proposed new code text b. Public Hearing c. Possible recommendation to the City Council 8. Review required State and Midway noticing requirements for land use applications. a. Discussion of noticing requirements 9. Adjournment
