- NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE 2021-26 BY THE CENTERVILLE CITY COUNCIL Pursuant to Sections 17C-5-109 and 17C-5-110 of the Utah Code Ann., the Centerville City Council (the 'City Council') is providing this notice with respect to Ordinance 2021-26 which was passed by the City Council on December 7, 2021, adopting the official Porter-Walton Community Reinvestment Project Area Plan (the 'Official Plan'), as approved by the Redevelopment Agency of Centerville (the 'Agency') on the same date, and directing that notice of adoption of the Official Plan be given as required by law. Ordinance 2021-26 and the Official Plan shall become effective upon publication of this notice, at which time the Agency may proceed to implement the Official Plan. The Official Plan is available for public inspection at the Centerville City Hall, 250 N Main Street, Centerville, Utah during regular office hours, Monday through Friday. For a period of 30 days after the date of adoption of the Official Plan, any person in interest may contest the Official Plan or the procedure used to adopt it if the Official Plan or procedure fails to comply with applicable statutory requirements. After expiration of that 30-day period, no person may contest the Official Plan or procedure used to adopt it for any cause.
- Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
- Centerville City, in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, provides accommodations and auxiliary communicative aids and services for all those citizens in need of assistance, including hearing devices. Persons requesting these accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, services, programs, or events should call Jacob Smith, Administrative Services Director, at 801-295-3477,giving at least 24 hours notice prior to the meeting.
- Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
- Meetings of the City Council of Centerville City may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Ann. 52-4-207, as amended. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained via electronic means and the meeting will be conducted pursuant to the Electronic Meetings Policy established by the City Council for electronic meetings.
