DUCHESNE COUNTY CLERK-AUDITOR 734 North Center Street Duchesne, Utah 84021 Phone: (435) 738-1228 Fax (435) 738-5522 2022 ELECTION NOTICE I, JOANN EVANS, Duchesne County Clerk Auditor, hereby give notice pursuant to Utah Election Code 20A-5-101; the following offices are expected to be on the ballot for the General Election. 1. Attached is a list of the offices to be filled at the regular general election to be held in the State of Utah on Tuesday, November 8, 2022; 2. The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified political party candidates begins on Monday, March 7, 2022 and ends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022; 3. The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for local board of education candidates begins on Monday, March 7, 2022 and ends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022; 4. The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for justices and judges of a court of record begins Friday, July 1, 2022 and ends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022; 5. The Declaration of Intent to gather signatures period for qualified political party candidates begins on Monday, January 3, 2022 and ends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2022 6. Qualified political party candidates must submit nomination petition signatures no later than 14 days before the day on which the qualified political party holds its convention to select candidates for the elective office.
