- Salem City Residents: On October 20, 2021 Salem City Council approved an Ordinance to annex into Salem City Limits the area known as the BYU Farm (Ordinance # 102021 - entitled 'An Ordinance Annexing and Zoning Property Known as the BYU Farm Annexation' On October 26, 2021 Ten Sponsors filed an application with the city to have the ordinance referred to the voters of Salem. According to Utah Code 20A-7-401.5 Salem City is to post the Proposition Information Pamphlet, which includes the Application from the sponsors, the argument from the sponsors, the argument from Salem City, and the fiscal impact statement and legal impact statement.
