Notice of Vacancies on the South Davis Recreation District Board
Pursuant to Utah Code Ann. ยง 17B-1-304, notice is hereby given that two (2) vacancies will exist on the South Davis Recreation District Board as of January 1, 2022. These vacancies will be filled by the Board of Davis County Commissioners in accordance with the following:
The vacancies that the Board of Davis County Commissioners intend to fill by appointment is for two (2) board member vacancies regarding the South Davis Recreation District;
In order to qualify for these board member vacancies, interested individuals shall be:
A registered voter at the location of the member's residence; and
A resident within the boundaries of the South Davis Recreation District.
The procedures for appointment that the Board of Davis County Commissioners will follow in making the appointment to fill these board member vacancies (2) are as follows:
The Board of Davis County Commissioners will analyze the letter of interest and materials submitted by each applicant for these board member vacancies (2);
The Board of Davis County Commissioners will interview the applicants that it determines are best qualified to fill these board member vacancies (2); and
The Board of Davis County Commissioners will appoint two (2) applicants to fill the board member vacancies (2) and announce the appointment at a regularly scheduled Davis County Commission meeting.
On or before December 20, 2021, interested individuals shall submit, by mail or hand delivery, a letter of interest for the board member vacancy (1) at the following address:
