- NOTICE - OFFICIAL GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS Public Notice is hereby given that the Monroe City Council did canvass the 2021 Municipal General Election results on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. Everything was found to be in order. There were 1411 registered voters listed in the official register book. The total number of persons voting was 555 which was 39.33% of registered voters casting their ballots. The official results of the 2021 General Election are as follows: Mayor - four-year term Johnny Parsons 490 Councilmember - four-year term (2 vacancies) Perry D. Payne 450 Janet B. Cartwright 423 Proposition 12 Yes 266 No 288 I hereby certify that the above are the official results of the Monroe City Municipal General Election held November 2, 2021 in Monroe City and canvassed by the Monroe City Council on November 09, 2021.
