TOWN OF ROCKVILLE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR ZONE CHANGES, AND PROPOSED LAND USE CODE AMENDMENTS Notice is hereby given that the Rockville Planning Commission will hold public hearings as a part of the Planning Commission regular meeting on Tuesday, the 9th day of November 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockville Town Hall, 43 E. Main, Rockville, Utah to receive public input for the following: Public Hearing #1 - Town of Rockville request for a zone change of Parcel R-1231-3-1, consisting of .36 of an acre located at the rear of 43 E. Main (Community Center), from Rural Residential 1/2 Acre to Public Use and amend the Rockville Zoning Map to reflect said rezone. Public Hearing #2 - Town of Rockville request for a zone change of Parcel R-160-A-1, consisting of 1 acre located at 375 E. Ballard Circle (Cemetery), from Rural Residential 1 Acre to Public Use and amend the Rockville Zoning Map to reflect said rezone. Public Hearing #3 - The Public Hearing is to receive public comment on the following proposed amendments to the Rockville Land Use Code: 1) Amend Chapter 2-Definitions-revision of Short Term Rental definition; 2 )Amend Chapter 8-Zoning Regulations-Section 8.8, Minimum Side Yard and general language housekeeping; 3) Amend Chapter 8-Section 8.8.2 Modifying Regulations (All Zones)-add 8.8.3; 4) Amend Chapter 8-Section 8.9.1(1) Notes Accompanying Table of Off-Street Parking Standards; 5) Amend Chapter 8-Section 8.14.6(4) Open Space, 8.16.6(4) Residential-Agricultural (RA-5 Acres), and Section 8.17.6(4) Rural Residential Zones - Addition. Public Hearing #4 - The Public Hearing is to receive public comment on the following proposed amendment of Section 8.25 Interior Accessory Dwelling Units to the Rockville Land Use Code. More detailed information regarding all Public Hearings may be obtained by contacting Town Clerk Vicki S. Bell at (435) 772-0992 between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Interested persons desiring input into this public hearing are invited to attend the hearing or present their views in writing. Verbal comments will be limited to two (2) minutes and written comments should be received no later than 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, addressed to: Town of Rockville, PO Box 630206, Rockville, UT 84763 or delivered to the Town Office located at 43 E. Main, Rockville, Utah. The Public is invited to participate in all town meetings.
