- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Uintah Transportation Special Service District (UTSSD) will hold a public hearing to discuss submitting an application to the Permanent Community Impact Board (CIB) for funding of the proposed Transportation Infrastructure Mitigation Project. This project would consist of asphalt roadway repair, sealing, overlay, and other maintenance items for approximately 52 miles of roadway throughout Uintah County. The CIB funding application will be in the amount of $4,987,000. UTSSD will solicit comments concerning the size, scope, and nature of the funding request for the above project. All interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard. The public is encouraged to attend. The hearing will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs conference room of USU Uintah Basin located at 320 North Aggie Blvd., Vernal, Utah. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Cheryl Meier, (435) 789-4636, at least three (3) working days prior to this meeting.
