PUBLIC NOTICE
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Monroe City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday October 19, 2021, 7:00 p.m. at the Monroe City Office at 10 N Main, Monroe, Utah.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments concerning a proposal of a zone change from RR-1 (Rural Residential) to CR-1 (Commercial Residential). Proposed Commercial Residential zone will extend from 350 N Main to 550 N Main and from 100 S Main to 800 S Main for one full block to the east (100 East) and one full block to the west (100 West). The Commercial Residential zone would continue west on 100 South (SR118) to 400 West. The boundaries would extend for one block to the south to approximately 450 West (just past the tennis courts) and then turn north to SR118. The northern boundary would follow Center Street to 300 West then follow 300 West north to 70 North then follow 70 North west to the city limits. It would then follow the city limit south to SR 118 where the Commercial Residential zone would stop.
