Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Appointments: 1. Planning Commission alternate C. Presentation: 1. Victim Service Coordinator-Tiffany Mower 2. Specialized Investigations-Steve Johnson D. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Agenda 3. Minutes: August 18, 2021, and September 1, 2021, regular meeting 4. Checks and Invoices: $267,116.04 E. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. F. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve Proclamation 2021-04, a proclamation designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness month. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve Ordinance 2021-07; an ordinance amending the La Verkin City Code to provide for the recognition and regulation of Internal Accessory Dwelling Units as a permitted use in residential zones within the community. 3. Review, discussion, and possible action to approve a letter of support for the Washington County Water Conservancy District to apply for a grant from the Bureau of Reclamation to fund the Localscapes Rewards Program. G. Mayor & Council Reports: Mayor Hirschi: Wilson: Ash Creek Sewer District, Public Works, Water, La Verkin Hot Springs Wise: Planning Commission/Zoning, Beautification/Trails Committee, Economic Development/Tourism Justice: Washington County Solid Waste, Homeland Security/CERT, Confluence Park Gubler: Public Safety, Recreation/City Festivals Hardy: Southwest Mosquito Abatement, Historical Preservation H. Closed Session: 1. The character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. 2. Discuss pending or reasonable imminent litigation. I. Reconvene from Closed Session: 1. Possible action on subject matter from Closed Session. J.
