Advertisement for Bid OAK DRIVE CULINARY WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT South Ogden City Corporation RECEIPT OF BIDS: Sealed bids will be accepted at the Office of South Ogden City, 3950 South Adams Avenue, South Ogden, Utah, 84403, until 2:00 p.m. on October 12, 2021, for the Oak Drive Culinary Waterline Replacement Project for South Ogden City Corporation. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,000 Lineal Feet of 8' PVC C-900, DR-18 Pipe within the existing city street. The work also includes: the installation of mainline valves and fittings; removal and replacement of approximately 18 water services; compaction; import trench backfill; asphalt trench repair; and all other related appurtenances and associated work as indicated in the Contract Document. LOCATION OF WORK: The work is located within Oak Drive, 785 East, and 875 East in South Ogden. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work specified in the contract documents shall be completed within 60 days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. OPENING OF BIDS: Bids will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the aforementioned office of South Ogden City. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be obtained upon application and payment of a $30.00 non-refundable fee at the office of Wasatch Civil Consulting Engineering, 1150 South Depot Drive, Suite 225, Ogden, Utah 84404, 801-775-9191. Bid documents will be available online at https://www.wasatchcivil.com. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid price, made payable to South Ogden City Corporation as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of Worker's Compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: All questions relative to this project prior to opening of bids shall be directed to the Project Engineer. No specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any 'or equal' products be considered for approval prior to award of contract. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: South Ogden City Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City.
