AGENDA 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER. Vice Chairman Brandon Grossman called the meeting to order at 5:15pm. 2. ROLL CALL. Present: Chairman Klansey Bateman (phone) Board Member Mariah Murphy (phone) Board Member Randy Croasmun Secretary Devan Clawson EXCUSED: Vice Chairman Brandon Grossman Board Member Adam Palafox Board Member Vrayen Soriano City Council Liaison Manuel Carrillo Audience: Jovani Guzman 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. Pledge of allegiance was led by Secretary Devan Clawson 4. APPROVE OR AMEND THE MINUTES RECORDED FOR THE WENDOVER CITY PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, JULY 6TH, 2021. Motion made by Board Member Mariah Murphy, seconded by Chairman Klansey Bateman to approve the minutes recorded for the Wendover City Planning and Zoning meeting held on Tuesday, July 6th, 2021. All in favor motion passed. 5. APPROVE OR DISAPPROVE RECOMMENTDATION TO CITY COUNCIL FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR TWO (2) LIVING QUARTERS IN WENDOVER MINI MALL 479 E WENDOVER BLVD AND MATTERS RELATED THERE TO Upon discussion of the Heritage Mini Mall Motion with the business owner Jovani Guzman it was discussed the plans for the living quarter. Guzman mentioned it was 2 living quarters when he purchased the building and wanted to leave them as 2 apartment units. The board made Mr. Guzman aware that the building will need to pass both building code inspection and safety inspections. A motion made by Board Member Mariah Murphy , seconded by Chairman Klansey Bateman to approve recommendation to the city council for the conditional use permit for (2) two living quarters in Wendover Heritage Mini Mall 479 E Wendover Boulevard with the addition that the building will need to pass both building and safety inspections. All in favor, motion passed. 6. COUNCIL LIAISON MANUEL CARRILLO UPDATES AND MATTERS RELATED THERETO. Not present 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. None 8. NEW BUSINESS. None 9. COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE. None 10. NEXT SCHEDULED PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY AUGUST 31ST, 2021. 11. ADJOURNMENT. Motion made by Chairman Klansey Bateman to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Board Member Mariah Murphy all in favor. Motion passed.
