Description/Agenda: Notice to Fill Midterm Vacancy in Municipal Office In accordance with Utah Code §20A-1-510, notice is hereby given that Washington Terrace City will be accepting names for consideration from qualified registered voters in Washington Terrace City who desire to be considered for appointment to fill a midterm vacancy on the City Council. The unexpired term of this midterm vacancy will expire on January 1, 2024. Qualifications for consideration are: be a United States Citizen, be a registered voter of Washington Terrace, reside in Washington Terrace, and have been a resident of Washington Terrace for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months. Interested persons should inquire with the City Recorder at 801-395-8283 during office hours (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM), and not later than 5:00 PM on September 29, 2021. Those who have formally submitted their name should attend an interview for appointment by the City Council during the regular meeting on October 5, 2021, at 6:00 PM at Washington Terrace City Hall, located at 5249 South 400 East, Washington Terrace, UT.
