Notice is hereby given that the CITY OF COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS (OWNER) will accept bids for the construction of the PROSPECTOR PARK PROJECT - PROJECT #003.21 - according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by the ENGINEER, and described in general as:
The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for the construction of the below described project, located in Cottonwood Heights.
Work for Prospector Park Project (Project #003.21) consists of the following items of work: mobilization, clearing and grubbing, traffic control; all required earthwork; construction of concrete trail and concrete pads, concrete edger, concrete curb, asphalt trail, limestone trail, and soft surface trail; placing limestone crusher fines; landscape boulders; installing benches, trash receptacles, pet waste stations, drinking fountain, and dog wash station; installing wood rail fencing and gates, chain link fencing, and hand railing; construction of limestone trail; construction of drainage improvements including detention basins, pipes, sumps, and rip rap; installation of utilities including water line to park for drinking fountain, dog wash station, and irrigation system; construction and installation of park entry monument, park sign, and wayfinding markers; installation of landscaping and irrigation; and all appurtenant work; all in accordance with Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined beginning on September 13th, 2021 @ 2:00 PM at the City Offices, 2277 E. Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights; request for a copy of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS shall be submitted via email to Adam Ginsberg at aginsberg@ch.utah.gov
Separate sealed bids will be received by the OWNER in their office located at 2277 East Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 until 2:00 p.m. on September 29th, 2021, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed and delivered to Cottonwood Heights Recorder, prior to the Bid Opening.
Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
All questions relative to the project shall be submitted via email to Adam Ginsberg at aginsberg@ch.utah.gov
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
Council Members may participate in the meeting via telephonic communication. If a Council Member does participate via telephonic communication, the Councilmember will be on speakerphone. The speakerphone will be amplified so that the other Council Members and all other persons present in the Council Chambers will be able to hear all discussions.
