RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 9, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): - Caleb Crawford is requesting approval of a conditional use for a short term rental to be located at 4627 West Seminole Circle. - David Smart is requesting approval of a conditional use for a private lane to be located at 1602 West 13595 South. - John Henrie is requesting a General Plan Amendment and Rezone of about 2.0-acres of land located at 12984 South Sunday Drive. The current General Plan designation is Low-Density Residential, the requested designation is Medium-Density Residential. The current Zone is RR-22 (Rural Residential with 1/2-acre lots) the requested Zone is R-4 (Single Family residential with 10,000-sf lots). This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Audio and written minutes will be available following the meeting. Public comment for this item may be submitted via email to planning@rivertonutah.gov or by phone to 801-208-3138. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorders Office at 801-208-3126, at least two business days in advance of the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
