- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 during a regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 1979 W 1900 S or via Zoom to discuss the following matters: Rezone of approximately 9.14 acres from Agricultural (A-1) to Mixed Use Development (MXD) by request of Twenty-Five EIGHT Development, LLC at approximately 300 S 1550 W for Syracuse Hotel and Monterey West Subdivision Amendment of approximately 4.71 acres by request of Jerry Preston at approximately 1745 S Heritage Lane for Heritage Lane Commercial Plaza Planned Unit Development Major Conditional Use Permit for approximately 0.21 acres by request of Alan Jacobs at approximately 1398 Dallas Street for home business A & B Woodworx Connect digitally via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85345807234 or by phone at 253-215-8782, Meeting ID: 853 4580 7234. Written comments that a member of the public would like to be read during the meeting will be accepted electronically at planningdepartment@syracuseut.com or physically (and by mail) at 1979 W 1900 S, Syracuse, UT 84075. Comments must be received at least five hours before the meeting. Comments received by the deadline will be read for a maximum of three minutes each; any unread remainder in excess of three minutes will be included in the public record. All related documents are available for public review at the Community Development Department and are posted at least twenty-four hours before the meeting at https://www.syracuseut.gov/AgendaCenter/ in the Planning Commission Category. All interested parties are welcome to attend and provide comments.
