- The Smithfield City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the City Office Building located at 96 South Main, Smithfield, Utah no sooner than 6:35 P.M. The public hearing is for the purpose of discussing Ordinance 21-30, an Ordinance amending the Smithfield City Municipal Code Title 17 'Zoning Regulations', by amending Chapter 17.88 'Planned Unit Developments', Section 17.88.110 'Subdivision Concurrent With (PUD) Approval', Section 17.88.120 'Preliminary PUD Plan Approval', Chapter 17.81 'Master Planned Community (MPC) Zone', Section 17.81.040 'Rezone Required (MPC)', Chapter 17.89 'Mixed-Use Overlay Zone', Section 17.89.130 'Site Plan Required' and Title 16 'Subdivision Regulations', Chapter 16.09 'Preliminary Plats', Section 16.09.040 'Approval of Preliminary Plat'.
