- SALT LAKE CITY CORPORATION SALT LAKE CITY COUNCIL NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON Tuesday, September 7, 2021 a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. by the Salt Lake City Council to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance relating to Petition PLNPCM2020-00511 Fence Height Zoning Text Amendment - A request by the City Council to amend the zoning ordinance regulations to remove the Special Exception process that allows for over-height fences (Chapter 21A.52.030) and to define instances where a taller fence may be appropriate and approved by right (Chapter 21A.40.120). This meeting will be electronic pursuant to the Chair's determination that conducting the Salt Lake City Council meeting at an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health and safety of those who may be in attendance.
