The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting August 24, 2021, at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 08-07-2021 to 8-23-2021 in the amount of $164,224.09. 5. Discussion/Action - Britanny Adams - Discussion and Possible Action on items pertaining to the City Aquatic Center. 6. Discussion/Action - Devan Shields - Discussion on the Mt. Pleasant City Culinary Water System Minimum Capacity Report 7. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 8. Discussion/Action on the Following Resolutions-Mayor - Resolution 2021-17 A Resolution Amending Resolution 2011-20 A Resolution Establishing Fees for Opening and Closing Graves - Resolution 2021-18 A Resolution Approving an Increase in the Participant's Entitlement Share Under the Carbon Free Power Project Power Sales Contract - Resolution 2021-19 A Resolution Setting the Fee for Inspection of Manufactured Housing Units 9. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 10. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 11. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 12. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 13. Mayor Report 14.
