MURRAY CITY CORPORATION NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID BID NO. 21-19 SEALED BIDS must be received by September 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the office of the Murray City Recorder, 5025 South State Street, Room 113, Murray, Utah 84107, for the following construction project: Mill and Overlay 2021 THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED BY: CLASS C ROAD FUNDS PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project includes five payment schedules of collector roads with 2' rotomilling and placement of 3' bituminous concrete pavement. The total quantities are estimated at 617,000 SF of mill and 11,569 Tons of bituminous overlay. Also included are pedestrian ramp improvements, limited curb and gutter replacement and sidewalk/pedestrian improvements. PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND BID FORMS will be available beginning August 23, 2021 online at purchasing.utah.gov under the vendors tab or on CD at Murray City Public Services, 4646 South 500 West, Murray, Utah 84123. ANY QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Carlos Montilla, P.E., at cmontilla@murray.utah.gov A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE OF $0 for each set of plans on CD is required. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT OPENING: 1. Bid forms provided. 2. Cashier or certified check or bid bond made payable to Murray City Corporation in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. WITHIN SEVEN (7) CALENDAR DAYS AFTER NOTIFICATION OF AWARD THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT: 1. Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, both in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the proposal. 2. Copy of Current Business License. 3. Copy of State Registration and/or License. If all required documents are not provided, the Bid will be disqualified. Murray City Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any informalities in any bid, as its best interest appear.
