Notice is hereby given that the Wasatch County School District Board of Education will convene on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 4:00 pm for a study session. The regularly scheduled board meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Wasatch Education Center, 101 E 200 N, Heber, UT. This meeting will be broadcast live at Wasatch-YouTube.com. Public participation, during the community comment section of the board meeting (comments and questions) will be accepted in-person, via email or online Zoom Webinar attendance. LINK - https://bit.ly/WCSDAugBoardMtg Prior to the Board Meetings the board will deliberate in an executive session at 12:00 p.m. as an evaluation committee during the process of evaluating responses to a procurement solicitation, and/or have discussion of information provided to the board during a procurement process if, at the time the board meets, the information may not be disclosed to the public, or to a procurement participant, and the board needs to review or discuss the information to properly fulfill its role and responsibilities relating to procurement. An executive session may follow the board meeting to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; and the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, collective bargaining and or matters of litigation. Section 52-4-5 of the Open Meetings Act identifies the topics that may be discussed in a closed meeting.
