- REQUEST FOR BIDS ANIMAL SHELTER BOILER AND WATER HEATER SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH Separate sealed proposals will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on August 31, 2021. All proposals must be submitted to the City Recorder Craig Burton at cburton@sslc.com (801) 483-6027. Proposers is responsible for verifying receipt of proposal. Documents may be hand delivered or emailed. Contract Documents and plans are available from Utah Supplier Portal at https://purchasing.utah.gov/for-vendors/ or by request from the City Recorder. This project includes all labor, material, equipment, tools, testing and permitting necessary for removal, relocation and installation of a new boiler and new water heater. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Animal Shelter located at 2274 S 600 West on Monday August 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm. A Bid Bond of 5% is required to accompany each bid. The construction contract requires insurance, performance and payment bonds, and E-Verify compliance, as outlined in the draft contract. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and rebid the project, or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the owner and/or make reductions in or expand the scope of work.
