NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 8:30 a.m., Utah Housing Corporation ('UHC') will cause a public hearing to be conducted by its President or a designee at the offices of Gilmore & Bell, P.C., 15 W. South Temple, Suite 1450, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84101, for and on behalf of UHC and the State of Utah regarding a proposal by UHC that pursuant to the provisions of Title 63H, Chapter 8, Utah Code Annotated, 1953, as amended (the 'Act') and an indenture or indentures of trust (the 'Indenture'), UHC issue one or more series of its federally tax-exempt single family mortgage bonds in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $750,000,000 (the 'Bonds'). Proceeds of the Bonds will be used to refund certain outstanding single family mortgage bonds of UHC and/or to provide financing for the purchase of housing by persons of low and moderate income within the State of Utah under UHC's Single Family Mortgage Program (the 'Program'). Mortgage loans eligible for purchase under the Program must be loans secured by mortgages on single family, owner-occupied housing located in the State of Utah. Such mortgage loans are available to low and moderate income individuals throughout the State of Utah having family incomes equal to or below the limits established by UHC for the Program. Mortgage lenders which have been determined by UHC to be eligible to participate in the Program will be invited to originate qualified mortgage loans for purchase by UHC. As part of ongoing efforts to limit the spread of novel coronavirus in Utah and in compliance with Revenue Procedure 2020-21 no in-person attendance will be allowed. UHC is authorized to issue the Bonds pursuant to the Act. The Bonds and the interest thereon will not constitute a debt or liability of the State of Utah or any political subdivision thereof, and neither the State of Utah nor any political subdivision thereof will be liable thereon, and in no event will the Bonds or the interest thereon be payable out of any funds or properties other than those of UHC expressly provided therefore under the Indenture. Comments at the public hearing are invited. Written comments to UHC may be submitted to Utah Housing Corporation, Attn.: President, 2479 South Lake Park Boulevard, West Valley City, Utah, 84120, until 8:30 a.m. on August 23, 2021.
