The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting August 10, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor Pro Tempore 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes - Mayor Pro Tempore - July 13, 2021 Public Hearing for the Proposed Ordinance # - July13, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 pm. - July 27, 2021 Public Hearing for the Proposed Water Bond. - July 27, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 pm. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor Pro Tempore - Transaction Register dated 7-01-2021 to 7-31-2021 in the amount of $10,814.99. 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Pro Tempore - Claims Register dated 7-27-2021 to 8-05-2021 in the amount of $305,748.03. - Out-of-State Travel for one Officer to go to Nevada for training - Approval of Bid for New Air Conditioner for City Rental - Requisitions as needed 7. Discussion/Action-Mayor Pro Tempore - Discussion and possible action on additional roads to be fixed, that was not included in the original proposal. 8. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 9. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 10. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 11. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 12. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 13.
