RIVERTON CITY PUBLIC NOTICE The Riverton City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 12, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverton City Municipal Building located at 12830 South Redwood Road to hear following item(s): - Shane and Amber Peterman are requesting a General Plan Amendment and Rezone for 4.17 acres of land located at 12747 South Sunday Drive. The current General Plan Designation is Estate Density Residential, the requested General Plan Designation is Low Density Residential. The Current Zoning is RR-22 (Residential with animal rights, half-acre lots) the Requested Zoning is R-3 (Single family residential, 14,000-sf lots). - Brittany White Johnson is requesting approval of a commercial site plan for converting an existing home into a commercial business. The property is located at 12430 South Redwood Road and is zoned Commercial Downtown. - Riverton City is proposing changes to Title 18 regarding Residential Chickens. - Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and School is requesting approval of an amended site plan to add a playground and other outdoor facilities at their building located at 13249 South Redwood Road. This meeting is open to the public. A staff report will be available for public review through the City website prior to the meeting. Audio and video of the meeting will be broadcast live. Audio and written minutes will be available following the meeting. Public comment for this item may be submitted via email to planning@rivertonutah.gov or by phone to 801-208-3138. All comments submitted before 5:00 pm on the date of the hearing will be relayed to the Planning Commission. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
