- 2021 LAYTON MUNICIPAL ELECTION In accordance with UCA 20a-16-502 notice hereby given to UOCAVA voters. Layton City will be conducting elections in 2021 for the offices of Mayor and two (2) City Council seats. The seats are 'at-large,' meaning they are open to candidates city-wide. Each position has a four-year term. Election and polling information can be obtained at: 1. vote.utah.gov; 2. the City's website at www.laytoncity.org; or, 3. by calling the Recorder's Office at (801) 336-3810. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd. If sufficient candidates file, a Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 10th.
