Description/Agenda: NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE CLARKSTON TOWN The CLARKSTON TOWN is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The CLARKSTON TOWN tax on a $257,000 residence would increase from $144. 18 to $188.98, which is $44.80 per year. - The CLARKSTON TOWN tax on a $257,000 business would increase from $262. 14 to $343.61, which is $81.47 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, CLARKSTON TOWN would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 31.03% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
