- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT The GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $389,000 residence would increase from $1,101.41 to $1,342.32, which is $240.91 per year. - The GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $389,000 business would increase from $2,002.57 to $2,440.59, which is $438.02 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, GRANITE SCHOOL DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 26.08% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
