Taylorsville, UT-The Salt Lake County Judicial Nominating Commission has announced the appointment of Judge Christopher Bown to fill the Taylorsville Justice Court vacancy. The position replaced Judge Michael Kwan who passed away in July of 2020.
Christopher Bown practiced law for over 19 years as a Salt Lake County Deputy District Attorney and Partner Owner of a local law firm. Before joining Stowell, Crayk and Bown PLLC, Chris was a partner attorney for Crippen and Cline. He also worked at the Salt Lake District Attorney's Office as a prosecutor for 12 years. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1996 with a degree in Political Science and the University of Utah with Juris Doctorate in 2001.
