PUBLIC NOTICE
Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) will host site visitors from its accrediting body, Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) from October 11-13, 2021. The purpose of the visit is to evaluate SLCC's compliance with NWCCU accreditation standards and policies and reaffirm its accreditation status. Accreditation is a validation process for colleges and universities, assuring the public that the institution offers degrees and credentials of high educational quality.
Prior to this visit, members of the public may provide comments on SLCC's qualification for continued accreditation. To be considered, all comments must be signed and delivered to NWCCU at least 30 days prior to the visit (September 11, 2021). Address comments to:

SLCC is currently accredited by NWCCU and last had its accreditation reaffirmed in 2014. Its most recent evaluation was the Fall 2017 Mid-Cycle Evaluation. As of that time, SLCC is compliant with the standards, policies, and eligibility requirements set forth by NWCCU.
