Workshop Presentation Topics: Introduced by Chad Wright Recreation Director 6:30-7pm
- Report on Recreation programs and events including plans for Summer/Fall (Chad Wright)
a. Heritage Days: post event feedback, Movies in the Park,
b. Adult Drop-in Soccer and Ultimate Frisbee, Youth Ultimate Frisbee, Pickleball and Flag Football
- Update on Parks including Anhder Park. (Rod Elwood)
- Update on City Capital Projects Plan status (Chad Wright & Rod Elwood)
1. Call to Order and Roll Call (President or Acting President)
2. Approval of Minutes and Agenda (President or Acting President)
3. Public Comment Period1 (President or Acting President)
4. Discussion and Consideration of status of animal control/parks ordinances, and efforts to manage animal control issues arising from dogs and their owners (including but not limited to firefly park and athletic fields), recommendations if any for City Council and or city staff. 5. Discussion and Consideration of recommendations for City council and or Planning and Zoning based on the USU wellbeing survey data, and support for July 8th City Council Presentation. (Chad Wright and President or Acting President)
6. Discussion and Consideration of recommendations regarding the cities approach to addressing indoor recreation space including an update on an approved recreation feasibility study. (Chad Wright and President or Acting President)
7. Discussion and Consideration of committee member nominations for two members and an alternate to represent the committee on a Ridgeline Park design steering committee. (President or Acting President)
8. Committee member reports of community/public official interaction regarding Parks and Recreation and or other reports. (President or Acting President)
9. Discussion and Consideration of action Items, assignments moving forward (President or Acting President)
10. Next proposed meeting will be July 28th(4th Wed) the following will be Aug 25th (4th Wed)

1 Public input is welcomed at all Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee Meetings. 15 minutes have been allotted to receive verbal public comment. Verbal comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per person. A sign-up sheet is available at the entrance of the meeting or shall be available through chat (only during the public comment period) starting 15 minutes prior to each committee meeting and at the facilitators table for the duration of the public comment period. Commenters shall identify themselves by name and address on the comment form and or verbally for inclusion in the record. Comment will be taken in the order shown on the sign-up sheet or chat cue. Written comment will also be accepted and entered into the record for the meeting if received prior to the conclusion of the meeting. Comments determined by the presiding officer to be in violation of Committee meeting rules shall be ruled out of order.
