The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting June 22, 2021, at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 06-08-2021 to 6-18-2021 in the amount of $163,642.89. 5. Citizen of the Month-Mayor - Recognition for the Citizen of the Month 6. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 7. Discussion/Action - Glen Peel - Discussion on the possibility of the City Annexing some property Mr. Peel owns and would like to develop. 8. Discussion/Action-Dan Johnson - Discussion/Action on variance to water sod. 9. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Vacation/Sick/Comp Donation Policy 10. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Updating City Cemetery Policies. 11. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Ordinance 2021-04 An Ordinance Adopting Impact Fee Plans and Impact Fee Analysis for Power Services, Establishing Certain Policies Relating to the Impact Fee, Development Activities 12. Discussion/Action on the Following Resolutions-Mayor - Resolution 2021-10 A Resolution Amending the 2020-2021 Operating Budget of Mt. Pleasant City - Resolution 2021-11 A Resolution Amending the 2020-2021 Operating Budget of the Mt. Pleasant City Library - Resolution 2021-12 A Resolution Adopting the 2021 City Property Tax Rate - Resolution 2021-13 A Resolution Adopting the 2021 Library Property Tax Rate 13. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion on Fireworks and what will be allowed this season. 14. Discussion/Action-Rondy Black - Approve one mile of road in the city to be resurfaced. 15. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 16. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 17. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 18. Go into Closed Session - Council Vote - Council will go into a Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 to: o Hold a strategy session to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property when public discussion of the transaction would disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration or prevent the public body from completing the transaction. 19.
