Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Lynn Sitterud, Chairman Kent Wilson Gil Conover -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Items to be pulled for discussion by the Board will be placed first on the list of discussion items. All other consent agenda items will be approved in one motion. 1. Approval of check edit list, requisitions, and dispositions. 2. Approval of the June 01, 2021 Commission Meeting Minutes. 3. Approval to hire Tyler Kay as a Dispatcher I with full benefits. Wage Grade 14. 4. Approval of Alyssa Seri as a volunteer at the San Rafael Museum. 5. Approval of Tammy Funk as a volunteer in Archives Discussion Items Items that require discussion before approval by motion. 1. Items pulled from the consent agenda. 2. Safety Minute Presentation by Viriginia Rowley from the Treasurer/Recorder's Office. 3. Awarding of the Safety Visa Gift Cards. 4. Presentation by USU Extension/Emery County 4-H in recognition of 10 year membership award for Dani Jo Thatcher. 5. Ratification of contract agreement between Stilson & Son's Construction and Emery County for work on the iHub's at the Orangeville and Green River Libraries. 6. Discuss/Approve/Deny monetary donation to Southeastern Utah Junior Livestock Show (SEUJLS). 7. Discuss/Approve/Deny monetary donation to the Cowboys Memorial Rodeo. 8. Discuss/Approve/Deny Certified Property Tax Rates for Emery County and Castle Valley Special Service District. 9. Discuss/Approve/Deny Resolution amending Title 7, Chapter D, Section 9 of the Emery County Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual. 10. Discuss/Approve/Deny ISM Russian Olive Grant for Emery County Weed and Mosquito Department. 11. Discuss/Approve/Deny Emery County Sheriff's Office application for State Task Force Grant (STFG). 12. Commission/Elected Officials Reports. 13. Adjourn. Any other business which may regularly come before The Board.
