CITY OF WEST JORDAN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held before the West Jordan City Council on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 7:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible in the Council Chambers, 8000 S. Redwood Road, 3rd Floor, West Jordan, UT 84088. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments regarding the following items: - Amending the 2009 West Jordan City Code Sections 13-6K-1 and 13-6K-2 regarding Interchange Overlay Zone (IOZ) - Amending the General Plan Land Use Map for 4.04 acres on the NE corner of 3200 West 9000 South from Very Low Density Residential to Community Commercial and Rezone from RR-1D (Rural Residential - 1 acre) Zone to C-G (General Commercial) Zone - Rezoning 1.34 acres at 8482 South Redwood Road from RR-.5A (Rural Residential half-acre lots minimum) Zone to R-1-8C (Single-family residential 8,000 square foot minimum lots) Zone - Amending the 2009 West Jordan City Code adding 13-5 Article L 'Planned Community Hillside (PCH) Zone - Consider use of the Community Development Block Grant funds for the 2020 Annual Action Plan - Amending the City of West Jordan Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2021 - Amending the City of West Jordan Tentative Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 - Proposed transfer of Enterprise Funds per Utah Code §10-6-135.5. Proposed amounts from the Utility Funds to the General Fund are outlined below: Transfer to General Fund and % of total fund expenditures: Water $1,379,250 - 4.9% Sewer $665,000 - 4.5% Solid Waste $298,700 - 5.1% Storm Water $215,579 - 3.1% Streetlight $37,500 - 3.4% If you are interested in participating in the public hearing, please visit the City of West Jordan website at https://www.westjordan.utah.gov/agendas approximately four (4) days prior to the meeting for packet materials and Zoom login information.
