WEST VALLEY CITY NOTICE OF 2021 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION AND CANDIDATES PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the candidates listed below have filed and qualified for election: Mayor (4-year term / vote for one) Steve Buhler Arnold M Jones Tom Huynh Karen Lang Councilmember At-Large (4-year term / vote for one) Max Weiss Lars Nordfelt Jim Vesock Councilmember District 2 (4-year term / vote for one) Philip Wayman Chris Bell Scott Harmon Councilmember District 4 (4-year term / vote for one) Jake Fitisemanu Jr Darrell R. Curtis As more than two candidates filed for Mayor, Councilmember At-Large, and Councilmember District 2, West Valley City will hold a Municipal Primary Election on August 10, 2021. Any person who is eligible or qualified to vote in a general election may register and vote in a municipal election. In order to vote in this municipal election, a voter must be registered within West Valley City. Registration may be done on-line at https://secure.utah.gov/voterreg/index.html. Additional information regarding registration may be obtained from the Salt Lake County Elections Office by phone at 385-468-8683.
