The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting June 8, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Minutes -- Mayor - May 4, 2021 Special Work Session held at 6:00 p.m. - May 11, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. - May 18, 2021 Special Work Session held at 6:00 p.m. - May 25, 2021 Regular City Council Meeting held at 6:30 p.m. 5. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor - Transaction Register dated 5-01-2021 to 5-31-2021 in the amount of $(6,321.43). 6. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 5-22-2021 to 6-07-2021 in the amount of $273,515.30. 7. Citizen of the Month-Mayor - Recognition for the Citizen of the Month 8. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion Action on Drilling a Well and the Water Treatment Plant. 9. Discussion/Action-Britanny Adams - Discussion/Action on Camera's at the City Aquatic Center 10. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 11. Discussion/Action on Resolutions--Mayor - Resolution 2021-08 A Resolution Adopting the Operating Budget of Mt Pleasant City Public Library for the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year - Resolution 2021-04 A Resolution Adopting the 2021-2022 Operating Budget of Mt. Pleasant City 12. Discussion/Action-Rondy Black - Discussion and possible action on City Roads 13. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Discussion and possible action on Rates for those with Inactive Water Meters. - Water Use Outside City Limits 14. Discussion/Action-Mayor - County Fire Protection Agreement 15. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Power Impact Fees 16. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 17. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 18. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 19. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 20. Mayor Report 21.
