*Kanosh Town Corporation will hold a Public Hearing scheduled at 7:00 pm. (Regular Council meeting to follow) KANOSH TOWN CORPORATION - NOTICE AND AGENDA OF A KANOSH PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM Kanosh Town is committed to taking steps to protect the health, safety, and well-being of our community. With the recent spread of COVID-19, some changes are necessary for conducting Kanosh Town public meetings. To follow the 'Stay Safe, Stay Home' directive given by Governor Gary Herbert on March 26, 2020 we will suspend all Kanosh Town face-to-face public meetings until this directive is lifted and conditions within our State are deemed safe for social interaction. Hearing will be scheduled at 7:00 pm. (Regular Council meeting to follow) WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER OF REGULAR KANOSH TOWN PUBLIC MEETING Mayor Frank Paxton a. Appointment to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission Action: Proceed as recommended 2020-2021 Budget Opening: Action: Adopt resolution 06092021 Resolution to balance the 2020-2021 fiscal year budget. 2022 Fiscal Year Budget Adoption Action: Approval to adopt the budget as presented Culinary Water restriction plan: Action: proceed as council recommends Sale of surplus vehicles Action: proceed as council recommends 24th of July celebration Action: proceed as council recommends COUNCIL REPORT ON DEPARTMENTS: i.e. park, cemetery, electrical, roads, & water Utility Delinquency Review: PUBLIC COMMENTS (Three Minute Limitation Each) FOLLOW UP ON OLD BUSINESS Progress report Corn Creek Irrigation Project Progress on Kanosh Town Web site CLOSED SESSION (if necessary) to DISCUSS one or more of the following: the character, professional competence or physical or mental health of an individual; collective bargaining pending or reasonably imminent litigation, the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, the sale of real property, including any form of water rights or water shares, deployment of security personnel, devices or systems investigative proceedings regarding allegations of misconduct.
