PUBLIC NOTICE 06/01/2021 Invitation for Bids Sealed BIDS will be received for the construction of the Little Valley Pickleball court Resurfacing Phase 2, located at: 2149 E Horseman Park Road St. George, Utah. BIDS must be in a sealed envelope prior to 2:00 PM MST, July 22, 2021 to: The City of St. George, Purchasing Department Attn: Cortney McRae, Purchasing Manager 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah, 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside #21-090 and Little Valley Pickleball court resurfacing phase 2 The BIDS shall be opened in an electronic meeting. Notice for the BID opening shall be sent to everyone on the Plan Holders List prior to the BID opening. There will be a mandatory pre-BID meeting and site visit 2149 E HORSEMAN PARK ROAD on July 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM, MST. Social distancing will be followed at the meeting. The bidder shall visit the project site and become familiar with the existing site conditions. Technical questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to Todd Steed, Project Manager, todd.steed@sgcity.org. The BID includes the following: cleaning, repair minor surface defects, color surfacing and striping. All BIDDERS who submit a BID are required to be on the Plan Holders List. Addenda will only be provided to the plan holders that are on the Plan Holders List. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the BID, naming the City of St. George as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George. As required by St. George City Code 1-10B-14 a signed certificate of legal work status for the BIDDER must accompany the BID. City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all BIDS, or to waive any formality or technicality in any BID, in the interest of the city.
