JOSEPH TOWN PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING April 27, 2021 PRESENT: Commission members: Sue Gestring, Vic Middleton, Doug Nowell, Brent Parker, and Peggy Smith. The meeting was held at the Joseph Community Center and called to order by Peggy Smith at 7:08 p.m. (Chairman Ed Payette was excused.) APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion: Vic Middleton motioned to accept the minutes of March 30, 2021. Motion seconded by Brent Parker and passed unanimously. AGENDA ITEMS: Annexation policy: A meeting held earlier in the month and attended by Sue Gestring, Vic Middleton, Doug Nowell, and Ed Payette revealed the current annexation policy did not vary much from the State's policy. Therefore, it was decided to request the Joseph Town Council adopt the State's annexation policy as our own. A letter was prepared requesting this adoption and will be delivered to the council prior to their next meeting.
