The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting May 25, 2021 at 6:30p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, UT. The agenda is as follows: 1. Welcome --Mayor 2. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation - Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer 3. Roll Call - Recorder 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions -- Mayor - Claims Register dated 05-08-2021 to 5-21-2021 in the amount of $131,630.68. 5. Citizen of the Month-Mayor - Recognition for the Citizen of the Month 6. Public Participation - Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded. 7. Report-Dawn Coates - Report on how things are going at the Mt Pleasant City Library. 8. Discussion/Action - Colter Allen - City Cemetery 9. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Resolution 2021-07 Consideration for and adoption of Parameters Resolution authorizing the issuance of Parity Water Revenue Bonds and a Bond Anticipation Note of Mt. Pleasant City and calling of a public hearing to receive input with respect to the issuance of such Bonds and any potential impact to the private sector from the construction of the Project. 10. Discussion/Action-Shane Ward - Discussion/Action on Temporary Increase in Power Department Personnel 11. Discussion/Action-Mayor - Vacation/Sick/Comp Donation Policy 12. Discussion/Action -- Public Works Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Public Works Department. 13. Discussion/Action -- Power Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Power Department. 14. Go into Closed Session - Council Vote - Council will go into a Closed Session pursuant to Utah Code annotated 52-4-5 to: o Discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. 15. Discussion/Action - Fire Department - Discussion and possible action on items pertaining to the Mt Pleasant City Fire Department. 16. Council Reports - Justin Atkinson - Kevin Stallings - Russell Keisel - Rondy Black - Sam Draper 17. Mayor Report 18.
