PUBLIC NOTICE There is a Vacancy for town Mayor This will be filled at the Thursday June 3, 2021 meeting at 7:00 p.m. You can submit names for consideration for this position to Melynda Watson until June 1st. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE VERNON TOWN COUNCIL will hold a Public Hearing and its regular meeting on Thursday, 3 June 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Vernon Fire Station, 325 S. Main Street, Vernon, Utah. The meeting will be an in-person meeting. PUBLIC HEARING to consider a request to amend the Town of Vernon Zoning Map. The Town has received an application from Sidney and Tiiu Pehrson to rezone an 80 acre parcel #01-232-0-0019 located east on Mountain View Lane, Vernon from its current A-20 (Agricultural 20 acre lot) zoning designation to a RR-5 (Rural Residential, 5 acre lot) zoning designation. PUBLIC HEARING to consider implementing an ordinance for business license. PUBLIC HEARING for 2021-2022 town budget. Regular meeting agenda: 1. Approval of Minutes from May 6, 2021 Town Council meeting 2. Open Mayor Position decision. 3. Sheriff's office report 4. Fire Department Report 5.
