Pleasant Grove Historic Preservation Commission Agenda Meeting Date and Time: Thursday, May 20, 2021, 7 pm Meeting Place: Community Room in the PSB (106 S 100 E) ** NOTE: In keeping with the State of Utah's COVID-19 mandates, masks are mandatory at this meeting, and social-distancing protocols will be followed. ** Business Excused: Motion to begin meeting: Second: Motion to approve meeting minutes: Monthly Subcommittee Check-in Reports 1. Conduct subcommittee monthly check-in reports from subcommittee heads: 2. Stacy Martineau - Heritage Festival 3. Sons of Utah Pioneer project. Other Business Items Next meeting: Thursday, at 7 PM Preservation (Chris Schow) 1. City council voted on 4 May to fully fund the Old Town Hall (phases 1 and 2 at once). 2. Scott Darrington is trying to set up a call with Steve Cornell to discuss next steps on the Old Town Hall now that we are fully funded. His main question is whether Steve will act as the architect (which will save us $50K). 3. Update from Chris Schow on the grant portion of the OTH project (ADA sidewalks and exterior window ledge repair). We need three bids, and work must be completed by August 31, 2022. Archives (Karen Harbold) 1. Next archive session will be 9 June at 4:30 PM. History & Publications (Laurel Cunningham) 1. Strawberry Days book is submitted to printer (pick up on June 9). 2.Cemetery walking tour book is submitted to printer (pick up on May 28). Community Outreach (Denise Trickler) 1. Action items for our 12 July walking tour of the Rose Garden? 2. Strawberry Days action items?
