- The Town of Altamont will be accepting Declaration of Candidacy for the following positions: Mayor - 4 years term Two Council members - 4 years term Declaration of candidacy forms and nomination petitions must be filed in person at the Town Building located 15585 West 4000 North between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. starting June 1, 2021. Candidate filing deadline end June 7, 2021. To be eligible the candidate must be a registered voter of the municipality and be a resident for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
