- PORTAGE TOWN 2021 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE Pursuant to Utah Code 10-3-301, Portage Town hereby gives notice the following municipal offices will be voted on in the 2021 Municipal Election: - Mayor - 4 year term - Council member - 4 year term - Council member - 4 year term - Council member - 2 year term Terms are for Nicholas Tree (mayor), Lesley Smith (council member), Tyson Nelson(council member), Martina John (council member) A person seeking to become a candidate for municipal office must: - File candidacy with the recorder in person during the office hours of 10 am to 4pm June 2, 2021, or by appointment between June 1 and June 7, 2021. For more information, see Utah Code 20A-9-203 or contact the recorder, Kori Williams at 435-452-2840.
