UINTAH COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Uintah County Planning Commission will meet at 6:00pm, December 17, 2008, at 152 East 100 North Vernal, State/County Building, on the second floor in the Commission Chambers. Welcome Planning Commission Chairman Robin O’driscoll. Minutes Approval of the November 19, 2008 Minutes SITE PLAN APPROVALS: Split Mountain Travel Plaza- Requesting approval of a site plan for signs on property located at 4743 South 4625 East, Vernal; Serial Number: 06:059:0111. Darcy Land, LLC- Requesting approval of silos for frac sand on property located at 3200 East Highway 40, Vernal, Serial Number: 06:053:0012. AGRICULTURAL PROTECTION APPROVALS: 1. William & Lori Robinson/Whitbeck Investments- Requesting an agricultural protection area on properties located at 3505 South 4000 East, Vernal; 4150 East 3500 South, Vernal; and 3505 South 4000 East, Vernal; serial numbers: 06:054:0079, 06:044:0075, 06:044:0061. This proposal will be open for public inspection in the Uintah County Building, Planning, and Zoning Office. Objections or modifications must be filed in writing prior to the Planning Commission Meeting. PUBLIC HEARING – CUP: 2. George & Sandra Pitcher- Requesting a Conditional Use Permit to operate a temporary man camp for four (4) trailers on property located at 1917 West 1500 North, Vernal; Serial Numbers: 04:082:0016 and 04:082:0017. TABLED FROM PC MEETING 11/19/08: 3. Amanda Carmickle- Requesting a Conditional Use Permit to operate a hair salon located at 443 East 1500 North, Vernal; Serial Number 04:062:0106. PUBLIC HEARING – MAJOR SUBDIVISION 4. Saddle Mountain Estates - Requesting extension of approval from December 5, 2007 on final plat for Phase II (36 Lots) on the properties located at 4138, 4180, and 4085 West Main Street, Vernal. PUBLIC HEARING - ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS: Chapter 17- Zoning- Conditional Uses in the MG-1 zone. 2009 MEETING SCHEDULE: Acceptance of 2009 Planning Commission Meeting Schedule. Recommendation of Planning Commission Chairperson: DISCUSSION Adjourn: Incompliance with Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodation during this meeting should notify Matt Cazier at 152 East 100 North, Vernal, Utah 84078 ph. 435-781-5336 at least five days prior to the meeting. All public comments will be limited to two (2) minutes.
