NOTICE - FEMA FLOOD PLAIN The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in cooperation with the State of Utah Division of Emergency Management, are in the process of updating the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for Weber County, Utah. In conjunction with this effort, FEMA has developed a revised floodplain in select areas within Marriott-Slaterville City. The revised maps may impact your property. If the structure on your property is found to be located within the one percent annual chance flood plain, you may be required to purchase flood insurance and have other limitations. A virtual Public Meeting will be held on May 18, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. To register visit: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/7431663278612858896. During this meeting the revised Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) will be available for review and those in attendance will have an opportunity to provide comments and ask questions about the impacts the new maps will have on their property. To view the changes ahead of this meeting, the preliminary map data has been placed electronically on FEMA's Map Change Viewer: https://msc.fema.gov/fmcv.
